The Big Production. . .

Baylen had his 5th grade play on Tuesday, October 28. It was call "Sing a Song of U.S.A." He was sooo thrilled, he had talked about it for weeks. He kept telling me that he was the ONLY fifth grader that had four parts!!! He was a crewman, a gold miner, a railroad worker and of course a cowboy. He did wonderfully, he knew his lines and was the best little actor. I was so busy making sure I was getting the whole play on the video camera that I forgot to take pictures so I only have the one pictured above and that one isn't the best.

PuMpKiNs, PuMpKiNs, PuMpKins

It's that time of year again!!! The kids had a blast! Baylen, Halee, Romney and Braxtin all thought it was awsome to dig their hands into the inside of the pumpkin and get the the "guts" out of them. Lexee wasn't too fond of the idea of her hands getting dirty, so she used a spoon and didn't get anything on her!!

It was Bay's first time carving his pumpkin all by himself (we have painted our pumpkins the last three years instead of carving them). He was and is really proud of himself and how good his pumpkin turned out. He also helped Romney carve his pumpkin. What a good big brother (when he wants to be).

We thought it would be fun to save the seeds and bake them. I had never done this before so it was an experiment. They turned out suprisingly yummy!!

When we were all done I had the kids sit on the front porch steps with their pumpkins and take a picture, the sun was really in their I eyes!! They were good sports and let me do it.

Having fun at Pack Meeting

Baylen and Scouting

Baylen has been working really hard on getting his Arrow of Light award. He has almost eight of the categories passed off to be able to get this award. The skeleton pictured above with him was part of the artist category. It may look like an easy project, but it took us nine milk jugs to make the thing and a lot more time than I ever thought it would. But we completed it just tonight and he is sooo proud of it. I am so proud of him and the effort he puts into scouts.

Fremont Indian Museum

My Mother-in-Law and I took the kids and went to Fremont Indian Museum. We had a blast. The kids thought the Pit House was awsome! They loved crawling down in it.

I am not really sure what is going on with the blogger tonight. It isn't posting as usual. Oh well. We had a blast over UEA weekend with the kids. We took the old beast up Sargent Mountain and camped for four days. None of us were ready to come home from camping and back to reality.

And some more flag football for Baylen too. . .

Parker & Baylen - Football buds!!

What a poser!!!

Baylen had a football game as well! So between getting up early for school pictures, having a crazy busy day at work and staying out late for football we were all exhausted! Now here I sit at 12:08 a.m. doing my blog!!! I know I am insane, but there is not enough time to do what needs to be done and what you want to get done.
Bay's game was good even though his team lost, but he still had fun and that is the main thing. He is also going to be having his playoff games and then we are done. I think he is sad, but probably glad to have a little less craziness going on.
